SWISSÔTEL SANTA SUITE 2021

One of our favorite things to do for the holidays is definitely staying at the Swissôtel Santa Suite. Let’s be honest… it’s iconic and is the perfect way to kick of the holidays! My kids practically grew up here and we feel so blessed to do it annually! I know you guys had a ton of initial questions about the stay and the Santa Suite in general, so I figured a blog post was in order.

Although in the past we have done the Santa Suite experience with just our immediate family.. this year, and after missing all the celebrations of 2020 we invited a few friends, my parents and nephew. So I’m sure you’re wondering how it works. The Santa Suite is set in the Presidential Suite of the Swissôtel Chicago and is about 2,000 ft². However it only has one king bed, so we always get another suite that is connecting next door for the girls. The entire package is around $2700 and each additional room is extra. You can look at all the packages and options here. You have a dinner options, Hannukah options, Birthday Parties, etc.

We ended up booking the actual Santa Suite, connecting room, the Elf Suite, and three other rooms to accommodate all the kiddos and adults. Everyone was on the same floor and we had a blast getting festive and opening up the holiday season. Also… dogs are allowed and that was a major plus! Now that we have a new family member Athena, we try to make sure to take her everywhere with us and make sure she’s not excluded in any of our family’s soirées!

The Swissôtel set up the room for us with all the kids games and activities. That’s the best part about the hotel. Every time we stay with kids they have so many games available… this is my favorite part as it keeps everyone away from their devices!

We made and decorated ornaments, played twister, monopoly, danced and had a fabulous dinner from The Palm. I pre-ordered everything and had it delivered to the suite. In all honesty the suite is so gorgeous and festive, you don’t want to leave… even for dinner. The entire experience is all about your surroundings.

Every year the Santa Suite has a different theme. Check out some previous ones HERE!

This year it was The Nutcracker… one of my favorites! In the morning the Sweet Jolly Giant came to visit for a little breakfast. Again.. another feature you can do with Santa. If you prefer to not spend the night and simply have breakfast with Santa you can book that as well. We had breakfast and decorated cookies and the littles told Santa what they wanted him to bring them as gifts. It was the most adorable!

I hope you guys have a fabulous Holiday Season and a very Happy Holiday, no matter what you celebrate!
